Responsibilities:
- Create and implement lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote student learning and development.
- Provide instruction in various subjects, including but not limited to language arts, math, science, and social studies.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special education requirements.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a productive learning environment.
- Assess student progress through various methods, such as tests, projects, and assignments.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to provide updates on student performance and address any concerns.
- Collaborate with other educators and support staff to develop and implement strategies for student success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Experience in Creative curriculum, Second Step, Building Blocks, building blocks, etc - Experience working for licensed childcare centers.
- Knowledge of childhood development milestones.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students in the learning process.
- Familiarity with instructional technology and its integration into the classroom.
- First aid certification is preferred.
