Senior Financial Analyst - BSM CCAR (Hybrid)

Overview:
This position is the senior level analyst in the Balance Sheet Management organization supporting NII forecast for CCAR (Comprehensive Capital Analysis & Review).
In this position, you will leverage QRM (Quantitative Risk Management) to run simulations and produce NII forecast for CCAR stress testing.
Your primary responsibilities will focus on supporting ongoing NII stress testing forecast activities, particularly through QRM simulations for bank-specific and regulatory-prescribed macro-economic scenarios.
Responsibilities:
Financial Support - Develop, maintain, and enhance NII forecasting models for capital stress testing scenarios using QRM.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Generate NII forecasts based on CCAR macro-economic scenarios.
Provide clear documentation of the methodology and assumptions, prepare review materials, and present forecast results for governance review and approval.
Business Support - Partner with the credit loss forecasting team to integrate loss cashflow forecasts into QRM, ensuring a holistic view of loan cashflow forecasts for stress scenarios.
Enforce consistency of assumptions throughout the CCAR forecast process.
Collaborate closely with the FP&A team and various Lines of Business (LOBs) to incorporate their volume and pricing assumptions into the NII forecasting models.
Benchmark the Base scenario output to corporate forecast to ensure CCAR alignment with business strategies and objectives.
Work closely with Model Validation and Audit to facilitate the model validation and auditing process.
Address validation and audit findings and incorporate industry best practices and regulatory guidelines.
Data Analysis - Conduct sensitivity analyses on key assumptions and perform in-depth analyses to understand the limitations and weaknesses of key assumptions' impact on NII forecast outputs.
Stay current with regulatory changes related to capital stress testing and ensure NII forecasting processes adhere to evolving regulatory requirements.
Reporting - Implement controls on NII forecast outputs.
Produce artifacts to document control evidence and ensure the transparency and integrity of CCAR forecast outputs.
Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of NII forecasting methodologies, assumptions, and model outputs, ensuring transparency and auditability of the forecast process.
Strong written communication skills are essential.
Peer Leadership - Assists management with the onboarding and training of new staff.
Mentors less experienced staff, including review of daily output and coaching.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Finance or Analytics OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Finance or AnalyticsPreferred Qualifications4
years of experience in NII forecasting, capital stress testing, or financial modeling within the banking or financial services industry.
Proficiency in data management such as R or SQL or data visualizations such as Tableau or other BI tools is a plus.
Salary:
$59 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
